Role and Responsibilities
Prepare reports and presentations for upper management and executives.
Analyze and communicate trends, variances to budget, forecast and prior year.
Communicate directly with our Parent Company in the US and in Japan.
Assist in the monthly close and reporting process.
Communicate verbally and in writing for both English and Japanese.

Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasts and Month End Close
Act as project manager with respect to all budget and forecast updates
Manage budget and forecast modeling tools
Responsible for preparation of financial information to be provided to Parent company
Assist with Month End Close, journal entries and reporting

Communication with US Parent and Japan Parent
Monthly, quarterly, Annual reporting requirements
Coordinate with Parent regarding internal audit, external audit, tax provision and tax returns
Ad hoc requests from US Parent and Japan Parent

Analysis and Ad-hoc requests
Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve errors throughout
Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports
Maintaining databases, spreadsheets and other tools used in data analysis
Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends
Pulling data to develop recurring or one-time reports
Training others on how to use and create reports
Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
