Teaching opportunity at Public School in Japan!

Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) work concerns the internationalization of japanese youth not only teaching English in schools but also participation in the school activities， events， clubs， etc

・Team teach in Elementary， Junior high， and high schools with Japanese teachers.
・Share your culture and other world cultures
・Play with students inside and outside the classroom
・join clubs like Kendo， judo， art， baseball， soccer
・Help students with light cleaning of the school
・Help out with sports days and school festivals
・Basically Monday to Friday and finish in early evening.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS:
Lead lessons with the assistance of a Homeroom Teacher (HRT). The HRT takes care of students and the ALT focuses on the lesson.
Make lesson plans
Eat school lunch with students
Socialize and play during recess


JUNIOR HIGH & HIGH SCHOOLS:
Japanese Teachers of English (JTE) lead the class and the ALT assists
Think of fun games and activities for class
Make worksheets
Check notebooks， tests， etc.
Eat school lunch with students
Socialize and play with students during lunch breaks

Requirements:
Native-level English usage
BA/BS degree， its equivalent， or higher
Real enjoyment in working with children

Some teaching experience or experience working with kids

BASIC CONDITION:

・Positions Tokyo，Kanagawa，Saitama，Ibaraki， Chiba， Tochigi、Gunma， Yamanashi， Shizuoka， Fukushima， Miyagi Prefecture in JAPAN

・Schools
Elementary school， Junior High School， High School， and Kindergarten

・Total Yearly working days:
180-200 days， M-F

・Usual holiday period:
late July-August， late December-early January

・working hours:
within 8:00-17:00(6-7hours/day)

・salary: ＄180，000-20，000/year(＄85-110/day)
