A Japanese company in Seattle is looking for Product Development / Sourcing Manager.

Position: Product Development / Sourcing Manager
Industry: Food/Trading
Location: Seattle, WA
Salary: $50-65k- DOE
Status: Full-time

Requirements:
-Experience on sourcing and buying food products for at least 1 year
-Experience/knowledge on food safety and customs compliance
-Experience/knowledge on working with vendors and suppliers in food or trading industry
-Business level of Japanese language skill
-Great communication skill will be invaluable
-Computer skills
-Up to 25% business travel

Job description:
-Understand the trend, find and create a plan for a new product development
-Identify the market and trends, implement and execute new brand product working with a team
-Find the best supplier and negotiate costs and term with suppliers
-Work with overseas manufacturers to maintain the relationship and troubleshoot issues
-Attend trade shows and qualify suppliers and manager supplier relationships
-Create presentation materials for potential clients
-Support packing products and arrange shipments
