Job Description:
We are currently looking for an energetic individual to join our International Logistics team at our Portland headquarter as Entry Writer.
Your main task as entry writer is prepare customs entries for our brokers to clear goods through the United States Customs. Our organization is going through a rapid growth and needs a new team member who is eager to learn, loves challenges, shows up daily as a professional, and support your team members. Experience is a plus but not required. We value character over experience.
This is an entry level position with great potential for growth and upward movement inside our company. We desire a person who wants to grow a career in the international transportation logistics service industry.

Job Skills & Conditions
• Self-motivated, reliable, positive can-do-attitude and team oriented.
• Can maintain a high degree of accuracy with an attention to detail.
• Intermediate computer skills with a good understanding of MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook and Excel).
• Able to sit at a computer terminal entering and reviewing data most of workday.
• Basic accurate mathematic skills.
• Professional attitude and intent.
• Strong verbal & written communication with clients, vendors, agents and co-workers.
• Strong organization and time management abilities.
• Interest in international logistics.
• Is teachable, can learn and enjoys learning.
• Keeps customers and staff updated on shipment status from origin through final delivery.
• Assists in ensuring proper paperwork is received, is complete and is filed as required.
• Assign Harmonized Tariff Code to import products

Restrictions: Must be able to pass a TSA Background Screening – clean record required. Must be a US Citizen.
Full Time Position – Monday through Friday (Hours TBD)
